I posted both the supply site and Matt's article to 2012hoax.org's facebook page, to see what whoever runs that says about these sites. I am not at all surprised that Dennis McClung is nice and rich from selling this stuff. If you poke around the site, he leaves no stone unturned for terrible events related to 2012. He even still lists economic collapse predictions that have failed to happen.

He's not really nice and rich from it, but it did allow him to move his family out of a crappy apartment into a "modest home." Chances are, he's still renting.

The whole idea of cooperation, community, and working towards better ways for society to do things seems utterly lost on survivalists. RationalWiki's article on survivalists is great.

Survivalists don't do that kind of stuff because they think if you know where their food stocks are you'll steal them.

Why anyone would want to steal a bunch of MREs is beyond me.
