I shoot you dead.

Great. Some guy on the other forum I post on (not the WND fan, surprisingly) posted this video. I think he innocently stumbled on it as he seems scared. I don't want someone to fall into the CT rathole.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MHPT4AushyY&feature=player_embedded

Long and short of it, the earthquake in Japan was an attack, and all the crazy weather in the Midwest was an attack, seeking to kill people, yadda yadda. Pretty much typical CT crap. He posts his sources below the video. I didn't want to watch the whole thing. But he scrolls through lots of 'documents' like on the Department of Defense site and somehow that proves it. From what I watched, no mention of HAARP, though, unless I missed it. Then I'd just provide Dunning's skeptoid article.

Anyway, I want some help figuring out how to debunk this junk and reassure this guy so he doesn't fall into the CT rathole. Please help? This is the first time I'm trying this.

Ask him why if this were true, would some random idiot on youtube know about it.

I just looked at that user's youtube channel. NAU, 9/11 twoof and NWO shit. Goddammit.

Just so you know, guys, I'm really serious. I want to help this guy on the forum, and be able to debunk this stuff with good sources. I'm sending him a PM to direct him to this site, and I may direct him to other places as well depending on how things go.

@Kepp

That might be where I start once I have him at least realizing there's someone who wants to help him. Right now I don't want to be confrontational about it.

pretty easy to wreck this

The guy is using the haaretz page dated April 21st 2011 with the headline.
http://www.haaretz.com/print-edition/news/israeli-firm-which-secured-japan-nuclear-plant-says-workers-there-putting-their-lives-on-the-line-1.349897</p>

Notice he uses this as his threat to the Japanese in the video around the section of 14.30 - 15.15

Interestingly that article discusses that the Israeli firm were worried about the Japanese people, not threatening them, the reason being is that the Japanese CEO's were allowing their workers to continue in areas of extreme high radiation.

The article describes the Israeli firm pleading with the Japanese CEO's that it was dangerous for their workers.

Notice that the day the Reactor core split was 26th March 2011

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2011/mar/25/japan-disaster-fukushima-plant-nuclear</p>

This is 4 weeks before that article. Showing that the article he is using as a threat evidence piece is not even remotely a threat it is the complete opposite.

At 13.29-13.40 he also makes the bold claim that Japan was getting more earthquakes because they disagreed with the Israeli position to annex east jerusalem. He does not explain how this is possible or how the Israelis are doing that to Japan but he states it categorically that the Israelis are doing the earthquakes to Japan. This is literally unsubstantiated claims, and would require some new technology and proof that it is happening, if he says HAARP, then you have him by his balls.

At 15.15 and afterwards he misrepresents the haaretz piece and reinterprets the heading of the article to say something it doesnt.

His whole argument is based upon Jew hate, his whole theory is the premise that the Jews/Israelis are the evil overlords of America and everyone else and out to harm everyone.

:) Wow, thanks a bunch, anticultist. If I get a response from the guy at the other forum (I sent him a PM) I will direct him to this thread. As well as other sources, if needed. I knew this video was a load of junk, but I want to be able to demonstrate how...logically and factually.

I have much to learn - I would never have thought to look at the dates! I think I did sort of panic with spur of the moment, as I seriously don't want another person to to fall for CTs.

Also the stuxnet worm does not target nuclear power plants, this is another misrepresentation of the truth:

http://www.pcworld.com/article/226237/dhs_chief_what_we_learned_from_stuxnet.html</p>

The stuxnet is designed to target siemens chipsets/computer builds, and it so happens that they are used in a lot of factories. this worm could be used for targeting factories. This to me personally speaking sounds more like the work of some anti capitalist trying to halt the progress of production lines.

here is some information on the stuxnet virus, and the actual articles he sources .

It is always best to have them at hand to be able to dissect his sources claims and read them for yourself..

OK from what I gather from the NY Times article the stuxnet is a specific code that sends messages that relay information that uranium enrichment gyros are stable and operational [it attacks specifically the control software in the gyro systems 'step 7' in siemens controller computers]. While its secondary layer makes the gyros spin out of control till the gyros self destruct, in essence it destroys the purification equipment that creates the uranium resources needed to create a nuclear weapon or run a power plant.

This is not the same as attacking the equipment that controls a nuclear power plant, in fact these are completely different processes and systems.

This is only the first step to create the resources for nuclear weapons and nuclear power plants.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enriched_uranium#Centrifuge_techniques</p>

So when the guy says the code was used to attack Japans power plants then he is quite literally not correct.

The program [stuxnet virus] seems to have been designed for one purpose only [according to the NY Times article] and that is to create havoc in the creation of enriched uranium. In normal processes this uranium is then taken after being in the centrifuge and used in processes in the nuclear power plants and weaponry [a seperate process and function in seperate equipment].

So hopefully this clears that fallacy up as well.

Think of it like this example.

The stuxnet virus is used to damage equipment in order to stop crude oil being extracted into purer oil.[pre powerplant/pre warhead systems]

It is not used for blowing up the oil station that uses the purified oil after it has been purified [the nuclear weapons/power plants].

So the worst case scenario for this virus is the following:

It was designed as a tool to prevent the creation of nuclear resources [conversion of yellow cake into enriched uranium metal] via enrichment centrifuges.

It was not created to cause a nuclear disaster such as core failure in a powerplant.

Jew hate bullshit, gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarg!

It really comes down to the claim that a weapon exists to do things like this, yet there's no proof of its existence. You have to prove that it's more likely some secret weapon that no one but YouTube artists know about, rather than geology, that caused the earthquakes in Japan.

Keep in mind Japan is heavily in the ring of fire, so in the words of a Zeitard "what are the odds an earthquake would hit Japan?" Pretty god damn high.

Furthermore, it's easy to prove the video has less to do with exposing the "truth" about what happened in Japan, than simply scape-goating every problem in the universe to the Jews. Take a look at some of the stuff in the video description:

Palestinians Weigh U.N. Statehood Declaration
http://online.wsj.com/article/SB125828480517449147.html</p>

U.N. Praises Palestinian Preparations for Statehood
http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748704336504576258862053711914.html?mod=rss_middle_east_news

Israel threatens unilateral steps if UN recognizes Palestinian state
http://www.haaretz.com/print-edition/news/israel-threatens-unilateral-steps-if-un-recognizes-palestinian-state-1.352423</p>

What do these have to do with earthquakes or Japan? Not a fucking thing, but they have to do a lot with the blind hatred of Israel that seems to be fairly common amongst CTs, and sadly people on the far left.
