One of the people TZM (more so Peter Joseph doing it and them believing it) likes to talk about are the Wright Brothers. They try to advocate that the Wright Brothers did things because they wanted to and that their was no "money incentive" behind their action in building a airplane and therefore inventions are done because people generally invent things for free because they can.

This thread isn't an attempt to debunk the notion that Peter Joseph can read minds and at that travel back in time to read minds to know what the Wright Brothers intentions are to fit his no money agenda. I can already say that Peter probably cannot travel back in time nor does he have mind reading abilities therefore this thread is reserved for supporting the Wright brothers did build air planes for money incentive or did not. Explain in detail as well as source when possible their possible incentive even if it wasn't a money incentive.

Here is one of several patents the Wright brothers made one of which in this case is for aerodynamic control. The Wright brothers patent the idea of course to make money off of it.

Why should people patent ideas well here's what I got on a website after doing a google search.

A patent is a legal document that is granted to the first person to invent a particular invention. It allows them to exclude others from making, using or selling the invention that is described in the patent for a period of twenty years from the date that they first filed the application. So if your invention has potential then the idea to patent an idea should be on your mind.

How to Make Money with Your Ideas & Inventions

Informational video produced by the oldest non-profit organization formed to help inventors protect and market their inventions. The founder of the Inventor's Assistance League (IAL), Ted De Boer, tells about his organization that he started in the early 60's. IAL teaches inventors a technique known as "pre-patent protection" that allows an inventor to discuss his/her ideas with the market under controlled conditions to determine if the idea has commercial/market value. Thereby saving the expense of a patent until the time is right. Note: IAL recently moved. Please refer to the address on the website... inventions.org. I love how the Zeitgeisters trot out the Wright Brothers whenever anyone scoffs at the idea of an RBE. The theory being, "Yeah, people laughed at the idea of the airplane too, and then the Wright Brothers came along!"

It isn't true, though. Many people in the late 19th century were working on airplane designs. Da Vinci had the idea 400 years before the Wright Brothers. Very few people in the late 1800s/early 1900s would have scoffed or laughed at the idea of powered flight. Indeed it was considered quite feasible and likely.
