My suggestion for dealing with VTV is just not to get worked up about him.

We know that he exposed Merola's parents because the evidence indicates that he did. He comes to us with zero evidence to the contrary, only a supposition, and as Eric points out his past behavior leaves us skeptical that he deserves the benefit of any doubt. I think the case is cut and dried.

VTV is, in my opinion, a pretty sad and pathetic guy. But the "you're fat" or "you're unemployed" slurs merely draw attention away from the main issue, which is his total lack of credibility on anything he purports to talk about. I might also add that his erratic and dishonest behavior merely goes to demonstrate the intellectual bankruptcy of the Zeitgeist Movement--that they let someone like VTV occupy a position of such influence in the movement demonstrates the utter incompetence and crank-magnetic nature of this organization. Who in their right mind would let VTV run anything?

I'll give my two cents here and honestly say that kaiser's and muertos's pwnage, while totally pro, are wasted on VTV himself.

These forums make me say that to myself quite often.

I did check into going, but what I'm interested in would cost me about 14k/year.

None of the community colleges here offer any biology courses. I was thinking of becoming a science/biology teacher.

This argument works two ways - if VTV were indeed interested in intellectual honesty and respectful demeanor, why would he associate himself with a faceless crowd of moderators who are quick to ban anyone unwilling to hum TZM's mantra in the same tone as the rest of the members allegedly interested in science?

Take the last debate with an outsider, TZM continuously spams The Colbert Report forums and after being called out on their ignorance of basic economic ideas as ubiquity of scarcity, supply and demand and the use of tariffs and subsidies, one of them invites the Colbert user "aegis" to TZM's forums. The thread progresses with aegis pointing out the ways real economics works and with VTV trying to redirect attention to political problems and after a while the thread gets closed "for review", except that there is no review and aegis has been IP banned by an anonymous mod, who in private tells me that he's just working on the behalf of the global mods. VTV still to continues to post the occasional thread arguing for his position, now that aegis is unable to comment.

I consider this to be the most pathetic behavior one interested in science could display. First agree to a debate, then close it under false pretenses, forbid the opponent to ever talk to your audience again and continuing to argue for your position, once you have a monopoly of attention. This isn't even close to science and reason and it should be obvious to any bystander.

This line and things like it get repeated here quite a bit. You have to repeat that I am insignificant and not in any way important. Yet you spend so much time endlessly stalking me around the internet.

This message board is insignificant. Though it does provide me with some mild amusement at times. You will notice I have not posted here in about a week. In that time I didn't think about what was going on here. And did not care.

Your "big reveal" that I supposedly exposed Peter's parents did nothing to my listener base. Nobody had any further questions about it when I posted about it. Other then asking why I wasted any time here. Nobody cares that Conspiracy science is "convinced" that I would do something like that.

Over the course of the debate about this and many other things you repeated that I am fat and poor a great deal, which does far more to discredit this place then any direct debunking of the things you say. Though that can be fun at times too. Particularly when you guys just make up theories about people.

Kaiser you said that my statement that people here do not apply the same vigor to themselves that they do to conspiracy theorists is erroneous but you absolutely failed to address any of my examples of that behavior. I will repost it for you here:

Note, you guys just came up with this out of thin air. There is no evidence to support that. Statements like that come out of here all the time. You make up the theories then start repeating them and then start saying those things as if they are proven facts.

James Kush says: "The Venus Project dumped The Zeitgeist Movement in favor of Exemplar Zero. And Exemplar Zero is now the Venus Project's "sponsor"."

This was something else just made up on the fly. And was totally bogus. But people passed it around to troll the movement without giving it any critical thought.

Like: Brittany is VTV. No evidence for this at all. Just an assumption on your part. Yet you repeat it like it's "true" or "verified'.

Mack Davenport made an ass out of all of you who just ran to the troll trough and started licking the bullshit out of it with your tongues that he was feeding you. You would literally believe anything negative that anyone tells you about anyone you are trolling. Then you have the balls to claim to be thinking more clearly then any conspiracy theorists, even though you do exactly what the more fanatical conspiracy theorists do. If it's juicy it must be true."

That is a classic example of total confirmation bias and logic fail. And another example of how you guys just make shit up to fill in the blanks.

Seriously folks. This is right up there with the people who deny the moon landing.

Right... so some people put together a petition to remove me as a moderator. So the obvious answer to solve this would be to retaliate against... Peter... who is the only person with the ability to remove me as a global moderator? That makes perfect sense.

This is the kind of stupidity that came out of this group of people who act like they are superior to people who believe in a lot of crazy stuff.

I am looking forward to more motive theories. It has been perhaps the funniest part of this whole thing and I have to say I am not surprised you guys keep avoiding it or just playing the "well your crazy" card. You guys have called me an egomaniac, and a control freak. You have said I am scamming people out of money. Or that I am a brainwashed cult member and that I supposedly worship Peter. None of these things is in any way aided by me attacking Peter's parents. So now you have to desperately run for the "well your crazy so who knows why you did it!!!" theory. Even though if all those other things you said about me were true then it would be the last thing I would do."

"Oh wait, another theory:

Like: "You are desperate for Peter's attention. You want him to talk to you so bad that you did this to get his attention..."

Even though I talk to him on a regular basis, and giving a nutcase like Kush his parent's FB profiles would not exactly help my relationship with him if it was so "important" to me."

These are just some of many theories you guys make up about people you don't like all the time. No evidence required. Then you just repeat them to yourselves.

A few people have watched this conversation and the others like it and told me it helped to establish that there is no credibility here. You guys are inclined to be dishonest in anything you say if it suits your agenda to smear those you are trolling. When you are confronted for it the most you can do is switch over to childish insult spam.

I have used this place as an example more then once of what happens when a group of people out to troll because of their own personal problems in life will find a "cause" to justify their stupid behavior. I have exposed to my audience how little intellectual value there really is here. And I have exposed to my audience that a great deal of what gets spread around here is speculative and in most cases outright wrong. Sometimes intentionally. My final goal is show why people really should ignore people like you. Not just because your "meanies" but because you are intellectually incapable of adding anything of value to the conversation.

Flame on in your little circle jerk. It's a matter of mind over matter.
