As we all know Mike Adams from Natural News (see our section) is so smart having absolutely no expertise what so ever in biology, genetics, ecology, health, etc but he runs a web site that tells everyone else lies about... well everything.

In an article carried by Prison Planet (Alex Jones garbage), Mike Adams speaks on RT (Russian government owned and operated propaganda machine) about how he thinks the recent E. Coli outbreak in Germany was engineered.

The basis for his claim? That if something is resistant to antibiotics, that means it's a great possibility that it was genetically engineered. Yes, he really said that. I know, I know, it is stupid as fuck.

The long version: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antibiotic_resistance<br /> The short but simplified version: just like with illnesses, antibiotics don't kill everything they target, so the very small amounts that do not die end up replicating and then passing on their resistance to that antibiotic. This along with natural genetic mutation is called "evolution" and it's this crazy theory based on hard science and observable, tested, and proven evidence.

I guess this means the small population of northern European men that are resistant to HIV were also genetically engineered? Does this mean the antibiotic strains of tuberculosis prevalent in the close quarters Russian prison system are also genetically engineered? According to Mike Adams, there's a really good possibility they are, after all, he runs natural news, and he's always right!
