these people spend their time attacking a very young organization that is trying its best to help. An organization that has minded its own business,

I would like to quoate Peter Merola above there is a lot more he said which I am sure you men will obviously pay interest to, but for me this statement above is the one that pisses me off.

They do not mind their own business at all, in fact the opposite is the case, they interfere with everyone who has the free speech to debunk them and disagree with them online. They harass their own members into line as well as attempt to salvage any last thread of diginity they had by going everywhere online and attacking, yes i said attacking anyone who pulls their ideology apart.

The attempts at sincerity and innocence here are totally outrageous and shallow.

I think the funniest and saddest part is that it takes me so little effort to make Peter Joseph freak out on his forums. This shitty web site doesn't even get Alex Jones mad, almost all his followers avoid me like the plague, but TZM seems to obsess over people who criticize them.

Peterpan, if you're reading this, once you're banned you're welcome here -- even if you hate me, I won't ban you for saying so... look at casey.

Peterpan is absolutely right - it wouldn't have changed a thing, wrong material won't get better through sources.

I still understand why PJ thinks CS is a haters den, the ratio of "VTV is fat" posts is quite above a level I'd call ideal - but did anyone notice he doesn't give a shit about the points?

I mean, I'm not the best leader, nor do I want to be, but how about a "We've had issues with CS before, but let's keep this completely rational - I'm not the leader of TZM, so I don't have to decide whether to act on these points on my own, we'll have an open debate and if I/we/the council of the venusian gods can be convinced, we'll change the movement."

Stuff like THAT would make me think "Well, that's living what he preaches." As far as now it's more like Christians, asking what Jesus would do, not to do it, but to make me do it while they do nothing.

All this does is give credence to a group that has explicitly negative intents against myself and TZM. Posting this here just makes them happy, giving them the feeling that their undermining criticisms are viable. Like stalkers, all these people do is sit around, watch this forum, and hope their aggitation gets recognized.

He's right, posting links to our site does make me happy, because I think it's hilarious, but I don't work to make it happen, his own members do it -- he's just pissed off he can't control them. I don't watch the forums myself, but some members here do. I think the forums are really shitty, slow, and links will often redirect you back to the main forum page which is really annoying -- those reasons are why I only visit posts people link, otherwise I don't give a shit.

Why the hell are they wasting time on this?

It's like sorting mail instead of replying to urgent ones. It makes my brain hurt.

I went through 6 hours of legal documents on ISP privacy today and I think that I'm not disciplined enough to start a movement like TZM that would work - and they are wasting time on (probably fake) videos by "anonymous"? As if /b would give a damn about politics.

> Don't waste your time with those in opposition who use ad hominems and highly
> aggressive, arrogant declarations of superiority in thought to criticize ********.
> Just let it go.

You know, I think thats perfect advice which works just as well from this side..

> THEY JUST WANT ATTENTION BECAUSE THEY HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO DO.

Now, what was it about people on AOL saying things in caps...

I'm pretty sure if we wanted real attention, we would do something to get it.

You know, I think PJ doesn't know what forums are for, they are not for getting attention, they are for debate!

Talking, discussing, its a way for us to communicate, its not about getting attention.

A youtube video, a film, why thats more of a way to get attention.. (Because its more of a one way system, unless you allow comments..)

> CS was put up as a direct insult to me with no provocation whatsoever.

Really, I never knew that!

I just thought CS was a site, with a forum, that just happened to have an area where talk about TZM was happening.

Being as there is talk about other things, I hadn't considered at all it was TZM focused.. (Perhaps someone is thinking TZM is more important than it is..)

> In fact, I guarantee that this post by me will be found and re-posted in their
> site and attacked...why? because this is all they know how to do!

Reposting, and commenting is not an attack for goodness sake!

Its debate, its a dicussion, as we try to learn.

> This is how they feel good about themselves

Well, I'm not here to feel good about myself, I'm just here to learn more about how to stop this kind of mistake happening elsewhere, including myself. I'd hate to fall into the same traps as those I see others stuck in..

If people insult, sometimes its to make themselves feel good, if they have been insulted first, they wish to readdress the balance. I suggest in the interests of harmony that letting that process finish, helps to put to rest bad feeling and people can move on, once they feel they have expressed their emotions enough.

Its not something I would worry about myself, and its even worth encouraging, as the faster people can get over someone else being insulting, the faster they can get to do something more constructive with their time. (Which is why a less censored area on the TZM forums to let folk blow off steam would go downa treat.)

> as though any of their petty remarks will ever have a real effect on the movement,
> my films or myself. It's pathetic...

Yes, its entirely true, after spending years chatting there, I'm pretty sure none of my remarks have had any real effect at all.. (People did say to me, its pointless to talk to people like PJ, they never listen, but I had to try, as I really care to help the world.)

> Life is short and rather than spending their time constructively, creating
> or helping society,

Thats almost funny :-)

The people you talk about, are the ones actually doing that!

> these people spend their time attacking a very young organization that is trying
> its best to help.

Always seeing an attack.

When someone suggests to me something, I don't see it as an attack, I see it as advice, a suggestion, if its a disagreement on what I'm doing, its because they think I'm wrong, maybe I'm wrong!

Most of us, I'd even go as far as saying, all of us (I've only met one real troll on the TZM site.) are actually trying to help.

Its funny as I'm having the exact same conversation on another forum about them banning someone for the same reason, and they can't see it either!

> trying to create a community of people who care about the world and want to see
> some resolution to reoccurring problems and promote positive change.

Thats what the rest of us was trying to as well..

We really all want the same thing, just we disagree about how to do it, and need to work out solutions, thats best done when we can all talk about it, not when people are not included in the debate. (eg. banning them.)

> They will be stunned at how big we become as we move forward.

Well, I hope so.

Sadly, I've been stunned how small you have become, its almost as if you did everything wrong on purpose! (Conspiracy!)

> My new film is confirmed to be released in theaters and I am going for broke on it.

I wish you all the best there.

> It is going to be huge and so is the movement.

We can but hope.

No seriously, I really wish you the best, I've only ever wished you the best.

I now don't believe you've much chance of that to be honest, simply because instead of correcting mistakes by listening to advice from others, you insist you have all the answers and refuse to listen.

All you have to do is admit sometimes your wrong, correct mistakes, move forward, repeat.

The scientific approach..

I really had great hopes that this time, this time things would work out, that the person in charge would realise their faults, allow others to help, adapt, change, fix things.

At least you have helped educate me and show that most people, are incapable of this action.

And at least I have bumped into a few more folk who can work together, disagree, change their minds, educate each other and move forward!

I'm just very disapointed that you made it so difficult for us all to work together, when you could have made it so much easier. (Its not all your fault, Fresco/Roxanne are not model citizens of such solutions either, perhaps because they don't understand what the internet is for, perhaps because they don't use it!)

Its nice at least that PJ is making more of an effect to interact on the forums, as he is beginning to understand better I think. Though it is a shame that because the experience is actually quite new to him, he is finding it very stressful listening to folk who normally he would just shut out of life and avoid!

Now, if we could just get Fresco and Roxanne on the forums, that would help I reckon..

There is also some amusement factor in watching him drop his guard and see the real him, but it is nice to see the real him, get to know the real him.

Sadly though, so far, he comes across as a complete idiot.

But, I'm sure many of us started like that, in time there is always hope. After all, he isn't complete idiot really, he lives in a nice flat, with a nice job, and pays a fortune to run the website, so there is some hope.

Isn't there...

Well, I used to think there was hope for Fresco, but then he met PJ and he took over, making even more of a mess than Fresco was doing!

But, bumping into the nice folk here, this is our hope, this is our future.

Now, I feel more hopeful than ever.

I think its very important to mention that, that in a way we have to thank PJ for helping us find each other. (Though, some of us already knew each other before PJ appeared!)

There, I've finished wasting my time chatting now :-)

From Peter Merola "My new film is confirmed to be released in theaters and I am going for broke on it. It is going to be huge and so is the movement." Does that mean for one to see the movie they have to pay for it or can they download this movie off the internet as well for free? Will this movie have copywrite protection on it? Us the only reason he started the zeitgeist movement is to make a name for himself in the movie biz...

A few dollar theaters or theaters in the sense what most people think that means, big cinemas?

Just because it's in theaters doesn't mean people will see it or think it's good:

Well he has to get in it theatres since the content is much more boring than conspiracy theories.

As he knows conspiracy theories is the number one reason why people are interested in the Zeitgeist Movement. So in order to promote the Venus Project without it, means he has to try something bigger.

Still, since he built his movement on a house of cards it won't matter anyway. It will crumble all by itself.

@Aaron gobble gobble

@Billll thats a good point about the financial implications he is going out on, he has ammassed a fan base, is he now making it so to continue following his work they must pay to watch it in the cinemas like his brothers friend Michael Moore ?

Thats an interesting thought, he is now banking on recouping and making a profit from his work ?

Let's assume he does get it in theaters, that's pretty cool because I don't know if I could ever get something in an actual modern-style theater -- a dollar theater probably. My guess is he'll have it in like New York, London, etc. but I don't think I'll be seeing it here in St. Louis.

Plus there's also the fact that: people have to actually go see it.

Regarding the system he hates so much: He does have advertising and marketing connections so you can not fault him on his networking abilities within the 'evil system', he probably will get it in theatres but how big it will be and which theatres is another thing.

I can not see many people wanting to go and see a 'documentary'in the movie theatres, I know Michael Moore set precedence with that, but Peter Merola is following a 'big act'.

I haven't seen the film, obviously, so I can't comment on the content, but I already am certain of one thing, it doesn't matter really what the content is because critics are going to talk about the connection to conspiracy theories and the biggest problem of all it sounds like communism to critics, pundits, etc.

Even if they do give it equal time to as much as they talk about Tea Parties -- which I doubt they will -- it'll be wrapped up about that, and before he can even get his foot in the door, it'll be boarded over.

Maybe thats why I got banned now... perhaps he is hoping I will speak up in the 2,000+ forums I'm in and go on and on about PJ, thus helping to spread his name..

I'm sorry, but the few forums I've even either mentioned his name, or seen it mentioned, peoples views have been overall, extremely unpleasent and dismissive.

I'm happy to just vent here or there among those that understand, but I'm hardly going to mention it now when I consider perhaps everyone who told me TZM is a waste of time, was right!

Just to make folk think that perhaps we are doing what PJ wants us to do by talking about him..

Which is why I rather talk about how we might learn not to make the same mistakes.
