You know the hand gesture that conspiracy nuts say is demonic? The one with the thumb, index, and fourth finger extended? Where did the whole "satanic" connotation come from?

Already read it. Unfortunately, it doesn't explain where the connotations came from.

The Church of Satan site might be able to help. I've read some of their topics on their forum those Satan worshipers get pretty elaborate when they talk about Satan, rituals and the sort.
