$75,000 spent on confirmation bias and promotion of other cranks, for conspiracy theorists this would be money well spent. In reality it's just a sad waste of time and money that could be put to a good use.

Why couldn't the Venus Project just join Youtube, become a partner, and make money out of that? Alex Jones has been doing this for years now, and he has a decent paycheck. The Venus Project could easily do this as well, what's taking them so long?

You'd think taking on such an ambitious project like making a blockbuster epic movie would command more attention than a YouTube series and some web conferences. Especially when you're trying to hurry before Fresco gets too old to finish it.

I'm not sure if they paid anybody they interviewed which could be a possibility. My guess is TVP used the money to ship Joel around the country to interview people and I assume also used the money to pay for Joel's salary because to my knowledge Joel is the only paid employee working at the TVP compound.

This thing will probably be no different to anything else they have produced, and won't be worth the $75,000 they claim to have spent on it. I bet the production value looks like a $500 documentary.

Paul Wright has a lot of good information about prisons because of his first hand experience. The rest of the persons interviewed not so much. My commentary below about the people interviewed

Jeff Hoffman a retired astronaut, professor of aerospace engineering goes on to talk about environmental issues yet after googling him for a bit he has no background or experience in environmental issues. He has a background in building objects that go into space, teaching about things that go into space so it's fine that he has opinions on environmental issues however he does not hold much weight with me when it comes to environmental issues based on his experience or credentials. It seems TVP wanted to add validity to the movie by adding in a person that sue to work for NASA that has a opinion on the environment.

Onto Erik Brynjolffson at which I have seen "Race Against The Machines". I disagree with a lot of what's on there. Technological unemployment happens but not at the rate he and that Applewhite are suggesting at then when it does happen people learn new skill sets that have value to the market. Erik isn't a business owner as well as he has a more keynesian approach to economics which I don't agree with and historically more times than not never works out. Erik argues technological unemployment do to robots but that's not the case. The problem is the market is changing and it requires people to learn a higher level of skill sets than medium to low skill sets. The problem is not technological unemployment the problem is the current educational establishments cannot meet the market needs for skills in particular area fast enough. We can see this with state require licensures within the healthcare service field. Because the state requires a license there are nurse shortages and doctor shortages . The increase in demand has risen the value of these occupations really high as well as because of licensures (certainly not the only factor) it's contributed to health insurance rising or just seeing a doctor to cost so much which in affect is why obamacare came to be.

Paul Wright I actually agree with him that there are a lot of problems within prison and it needs reformed drastically. With that said I would say a lot of these issues would be resolved with parents raising there kids better. Do not spank, do not yell, negotiate with the child, and have the child have there own values and virtues are very important factors to stay out of the prison environment.

Paul seems pretty reasonable and I'm going to take a guess that his childhood was pretty awful. However I'd argue if he had proper child rearing as a child he would of never of ended up in prison in the first place. I mean he was going to rob a cocaine dealer but ended up killing the cocaine dealer. He got sent to prison and is now pissed off that he was not treated right therefore he started a magazine. I don't know the details of the case however from what I do know I do not agree with hurting or killing anybody and if somehow anybody thinks they should be treated good after killing a person well that's wrong. He's served his time in prison and that's in the past.

However besides the points mentioned I do think Paul has a lot of important points about prisons and has a lot of value in general. At that He's made his life a lot better even becoming a legal professional without actually having a degree in law when it comes to prison injustices.

Mark Jacobson for sure has the credentials and has a lot of interesting ideas however he needs to put theory into practice. less work on computer models more work on putting theory into practice. If he can change the world enter the market place and start making something that people want to change the world with. He is definitely a dime a dozen though. Just some guy that claims OMG I CAN CHANGE THE WORLD ONLY IF WE DID THIS, THIS AND THIS. Yet contributes nothing but theory. When theory hits reality or when rubber hits the road he'll have more pull until then not much to say.

We want to keep you informed as to the progress of The Choice is Ours. We finished editing for Part One and Two, with some tweaking here and there, which we can still do. The post editor is coming by today to review the piece with us on his way back home to Australia. He will be taking both sections back with him on a hard drive to do the color grading, sound adjustments and putting the music into the piece when that is completed.

The music is being scored now and we are extremely excited about how it is developing. We are honored to have Kat Epple composing an original score for The Choice is Ours. She has an eclectic variety of musical styles and quite a lot of experience.

Kat has produced film scores and television soundtracks for National Geographic, Nova, CNN, Carl Sagan, Another World, The Travel Channel, Turner Broadcasting System, History Channel, HGN, The Guiding Light, Children's Books, PBS, and NASA among others. We will also be presenting a good deal of new awesome animations. You will see some in Part One and Two but they will be primarily in Part Three. We are privileged to be working with Jeff Grigsby who has been producing them. Jeff came to us from last working on the Harry Potter series.

While the post editor is working on it we will be transcribing the text so the Linguistic Team International can translate it into various languages for subtitles. We appreciate all the help they have done for The Venus Project in the past and are still doing.

We are not sure yet how long the editor and the musician will need but we are making tremendous progress now. We are also ready to work on the trailer for Part One and Part Two for those within that reward range. Then on to Part Three - after some needed sleep!

We apologize for this taking longer than first anticipated, but we have put much more work into it to make this a more polished production to bring you a wide range of information.

I received this audio in my e-mail from a anonymous person at which this audio contains a secret meeting TVP was having talking about 'The Choice is Ours' movie. They gave me two audios both are the same exact audio, just one audio is just shorter in length than the other.

In short 'The Choice is Ours Movie is still in the process of being made. Jule is editing it Roxanne is unsure when it will be finally done. 'The Choice is ours' movie will be a 3 part series. Roxanne would like all 3 parts to be released at the same time but she has considered releasing parts 1 and 2 together and presenting part 3 which would be the solution down the road. Roxanne says part 1 will be about 23 minutes and part 2 about 38 minutes.

As far as when this movie will get done she says she doesn't know ti'll take as long as it needs to. Roxanne did admit that they are running behind and have not hit their dead line to get this movie done by now.

A very high end meeting for film makers. Wheeling and dealing and they get backers. They have at these meetings been introducing the Venus project and talking about the script to a certain degree. They have gotten a lot of interest. What the producers have been doing is giving people paradise and Oblivion and then They become very interested in the TVP big budget movie. So that was really encouraging. Things our developing but these things take awhile."

Roxanne says, "We're working with a different script writer. Who was making some changes and that always happens. So this is where we're kind of at right now. We're waiting for the script writer to show us within a week or two the latest changes."

So basically the Choice is Ours movie is late, really late. Didn't want to say something yet I did but when the hell is The Venus Project's part 3 of the "Choice is ours" movie going to be released it's been 7 months now. *cricket* *cricket* *cricket*

The visuals are actually pretty good on that youtube clip.

However, the storyline and content are inevitably going to be the same as every other video, interview and youtube promotion they've ever done prior. The World can be different, no evidence, talk to people with anecdotal information, and ask for people's money.

On the plus side they've at least tried to position themselves with people of some academic value. The irony being Jacque gives little value or credit to people with academic qualifications or knowledge. Yet here we are with a list of PhD holders talking about their specialist fields in one of his videos.
