Now, doubtful as I am that Jones and anti-Semitic cult leader Lyndon LaRouche have met, there is an small amount of cross-promotion between them. That is ignoring Jones' fans, many of whom heavily promote LaRouche's webcasts, and some of whom aren't as warm to him.

From Al to Lyn...
A video of one of LaRouche's webcasts: http://www.infowars.com/larouche-they-will-kill-you/<br /> An article from the Executive Intelligence Review, owned by LaRouche: http://www.prisonplanet.com/news_alert_hamas5.html<br /> Quoting "outspoken political activist" LaRouche as a source: http://www.prisonplanet.com/democratic-congressman-representatives-were-threatened-with-martial-law-in-america-over-bailout-bill.html<br /> A Newsmax mirror on Prisonplanet that sources LaRouche: http://www.prisonplanet.com/russia_knew_in_advance_encouraged_citizens_to_cash_out_dollars.htm<br /> A Propaganda Matrix mirror on Prisonplanet that sources LaRouche: http://www.prisonplanet.com/031103pullingtheglobe.html</p>

...And Lyn back to Al.
Here, he refers to Al as "credulous populist media." http://www.larouchepac.com/node/11465<br /> Quoting the Alex Jones Show as a source: http://www.larouchepac.com/node/12758</p>

The one point I found where Jones and LaRouche disagree: http://www.prisonplanet.com/british-terrorist-link-unlikely.html</p>

Then Google's cache search went kaput on me. Maybe later.

I know that LaRouche has a history of being associated with the far left, especially the authoritarian far left. I imagine that if it came down to Jones actually fully discussing him he'd call him a shill or some such shit, even if he uses him as a source.

Like in his Martial Law film he criticized the hell out of Rosie O'Donnel as basically being a part of the kind of people destroying our rights because she's for gun control. But now she's basically hot shit in a champaign glass, because she parrots 9/11 conspiracy theories: http://www.defendrosie.com/</p>

It comes down to using whatever he can to promote himself.

The fringe elements of both wings will align for conspiracy theories.

That is why the third parties for each side blow.

Well, it looks like Alex sided with Webster Tarpley after the breakup. I heard LaRouch lives in a mansion, and Webber probably likes to come over and crash on Alex's couch, so Alex might regret that decision.

The science blogger Mark Hoofnagle, MD, PhD (yes, he has one of each!) has written about "crank magnetism," where people attracted to crank ideas often share several of them in common because they have a cognitive defect: They lack the ability to see their own incompetence, and they have trouble detecting incompetence in others:

http://scienceblogs.com/denialism/2007/04/unified_theory_of_the_crank.php</p>

http://scienceblogs.com/denialism/2007/06/crank_magnetism_1.php</p>

So it makes sense that Alex Jones, Lyndon LaRouche, Ron Paul, etc., often sound alike, and that Jones offers his show as a forum to both LaRouchies like Webster Tarpley and to libertarian cranks, despite their differences in some areas.

i'm not sure Jones would want to be associated with LaRouche after all he leans more to the left which we all know is bad despite Jones and his followers apparently being "above left and right"

The only people who claim left and right don't exist are Libertarians and that's only because neither side wants their stupid asses.

I love their "shortest political test," it basically tries to force you to answer questions in favor of the Austrian view.

Given the inefficiencies of what D.C. laughingly calls the ‘criminal justice system,’ I think we can safely assume that 95 percent of the black males in that city are semi-criminal or entirely criminal. — Printed In Ron Paul’s Newsletter

Opinion polls consistently show that only about 5 percent of blacks have sensible political opinions, i.e. support the free market, individual liberty and the end of welfare and affirmative action. — Printed In Ron Paul’s Newsletter

The notion of a rigid separation between church and state has no basis in either the text of the Constitution or the writings of our Founding Fathers. On the contrary, our Founders’ political views were strongly informed by their religious beliefs. — Ron Paul

The Founding Fathers envisioned a robustly Christian yet religiously tolerant America, with churches serving as vital institutions that would eclipse the state in importance. — Ron Paul

Through perverse court decisions and years of cultural indoctrination, the elitist, secular Left has managed to convince many in our nation that religion must be driven from public view. The justification is always that someone, somewhere, might possibly be offended or feel uncomfortable living in the midst of a largely Christian society, so all must yield to the fragile sensibilities of the few. The ultimate goal of the anti-religious elites is to transform America into a completely secular nation, a nation that is legally and culturally biased against Christianity. — Ron Paul
