"It would be good to have a critical review of the full source guide."

Go for it!

I think the responses that ZM members give out is more close to mentally ill behaviour than PJ's characterisations. Well, maybe not that the supporters are mentally ill - but certainly making very big concessions to reach their conclusions. Agreed 1000%.

What's creepy is that they can actually sound rational once in a while. Then when you step back you realize they're dwelling in a Bizarro alternate universe and that the whole basis of their belief system is out of whack. It's part of what's so disconcerting about the whole Zeitgeist phenomenon.

@mayk

It's by no means thorough, but at least the article explains why it isn't thorough:

@The Real Roxette

I'm a little embarrassed I didn't actually have a thorough look on the CS website before posting. I discovered that article and the forum thread shortly thereafter.

If I can muster the time and attention span, I will probably dedicate some time in the near future to a critical examination of some portion of the (220 page) source guide.

I tried to do it. I couldn't.

It contradicts itself repeatedly and spouts so much pseudo-scientific stupidity that I just gave up. The Orientation Guide is an excellent example of proof by verbosity.
