This guy has been contacting me through email. He promotes TZM, and at the same time, he promotes a classic neo-Nazi agenda. To be frank, I believe the man has a mental deficiency (aside from his racism). He seems intent upon associating TZM with his misguided white supremacy ideals. I suggest that we leave him be as he seems harmless. But, should he become dangerous, we at least know who he is. Here are some URLs directing you to him:

www.youtube.com/user/politekat88

www.conspiracycafe.net/forum/index.php?/...tia-looking-for-you/

Again, I do not suggest communicating with him or provoking him in any way. Even though his worldview is sick and you may be driven to tell him so, this will only make him stronger in his efforts.

I just saw what a TZM member wrote called mickeymouse and it was incredibly racists and ignorant. I'm seeing TZM attracting a lot of neonazi's and holocaust deniers o-joy

http://www.thezeitgeistmovement.com/joomla/index.php?option=com_kunena&Itemid=99999&func=view&catid=231&id=298834#299086

>> mickeymouse says: We support science, and science tells us for example white people have on average higher IQs than black people, while east asians have higher IQs than whites and so on. That does not mean however we should discriminate against or in favor of any of them.<<

Yeah, but we shut them down. I was on the Nazi's guys youtube pointing out the illogical nature of being part of TZM and the junior KKK.

And Billl, let's not cherry pick, you'll see that mickey mouse was resoundly refuted by other members.

Our movement is an open one, so that doesn't prevent a few whacko's or a few of your sock puppet accounts from getting by. We deal with them as they become known.

It is really easy to paste an association with a label, it just takes a few bad apples.

It would be harder to do this to Conspiracy Science as you approve those you let on.

Are there Holocaust deniers in TZM? Yes
Are there Holocaust deniers in CS? No.

That is all.

How many people are part of TZM global site: At minimum 35,000
How many are subscribed to the mailing list: Conservatively let's say 400,000
How many have seen the movies: Conservatively let's say about 5,000,000

How many people are actively posting at CS: About 8, 9 including me. I am joking, somewhat. But let's say, not being conservative that you have 100 people that actively post or have the ability to post. Maybe Ed could illuminate that more.

Statistically speaking, we are more likely to attract bad apples. And you know this Matt.
You also know that 99.9% of our membership wouldn't support the stance of anyone who purported to be a holocaust denier. You are just appealing to sensationalism.

No I'm not. I'm pointing out the effects of crank magnetism. TZM is not unique in that it attracts fringe, paranoid personality types regardless of personal politics.

In other words, TeeZedem,

TVP AND TZM are bullshit things...

So, they'll tend to attract people who believe in other bullshit stuff.

Those who lack the cognitive abilities to differentiate between good sources of information and bad sources of information tend to focus only on what information they agree with and ignore the information they don't. This is called confirmation bias.

This is why you have bong smoking, left wing college students linking sites like Infowars.com and Rense.com, who's politics should only appeal to far right, fundamentalist Christians.

You also suffer from confirmation bias TeeZeeDem. You focus on the elements of TZM/TVP that appeal to you and disregard the elements that don't as "bad apples." Personally, I think you're full of shit.

How many ZM members are NOT conspiracy theorists of one stripe or another?

Virtually none, in my experience. There's you, TeeZedem, and there's like one or two other people who have posted YouTube videos critical of conspiracy theories. The vast majority are either affirmative 9/11 Truthers or fellow travelers who cloak their beliefs in disingenuous statements like "it doesn't matter what the cause of 9/11 was" or "I don't have enough information to decide, but let's move on."

9/11 Truth by itself attracts Holocaust deniers and anti-Semites. Since the ZM aggressively markets itself to 9/11 Truthers, naturally it's going to attract a lot of Holocaust deniers and anti-Semites. You, TeeZedem, act as if the "bad apples" just find your movement randomly. It's not random. The movement seeks them out, but is not conscious of doing so.

@Matt
Well lucky for me, your opinion of me doesn't keep me awake at night.

@Muertos
I focus on the financial side of things, because that is the area in which I work. I do believe we are making an effort to weed that out. I don't see many 9/11 threads on the Z-forums now and I think that is a direct result of various groups efforts to actively debunk the debunkers. My personal opinion is that it is a topic that distracts us from the real problems. Every time I have to stop and address the 9/11 issue is less time I spend discussing how we analyze relevant problems. Every social movement makes mistakes and tactical errors in it's infancy, I just hope that time allows us to put some distance between TZM and 9/11.

@Omni-Science
That is a pretty broad criticism. Perhaps you could narrow that down more specifically so I could respond. There exists bullshit in every system, and "bullshit" is not unique to TZM and TVP. What it comes down to is, which system has the least amount of bullshit and can we live with it?

I know it's broad. Appropriately broad.

The "current" system that we have and that you advocate getting rid of is full of bullshit.

TZM and TVP are COMPOSED of bullshit.

I do believe we are making an effort to weed that out.

Does the leader of the Zeitgeist Movement re-releasing his conspiracy film together with a "source guide" emphatically repeating his 9/11 conspiracy claims seem to you like "making an effort" to weed out conspiracy theories?

The best thing anyone can do is distance themselves from TZM and TVP as soon as possible before it really gets a shitty name for itself, which it is probably going to do should it get any actual publicity. Unlikely but lets say it does, all the people who are affiliated with it, are promoting it and are pro actively involved in it are going to be just another bunch of kooks scoffed at for their nonsense theories and bullshit.

Anyone with sense can see through the ridiculous claims they spew about matters they're not even educated or skilled in. It is akin to a bunch of high school drop outs claiming they know whats best for the world with no ability to make good on a single claim they make. Wordsmithery is about the only half talent they have, everything else is just hot air.

I asked, and Ed was gracious enough to allow me to be here. Besides if I wasn't here, who would liven up this board with a dissenting opinion? Without me it would be an "I hate PJ" sausage party.

@Muertos
I actually agree, it seems somewhat schizophrenic to release that version and at the same time profess that he is moving forward.

No it wouldn't. This is your crank confirmation bias at work again. Most of the threads I post are related to American politics, not Zeitgeist. Zeitgeist is some stupid shit that's fun to mock, nothing more. It could vanish today and my posting would be just as lively.
