Checking their fulsome "Knowledge Base," indeed the page supposedly distancing themselves from conspiracy theories has been deleted. This is very curious. I wrote a blog (here: http://conspiracyscience.com/blog/2010/05/06/the-zeitgeist-movement-conspiracies-are-us/) skewering this disingenuous part of the FAQ. Now it's been deleted. Official sanction, therefore, of conspiracy theories? Did Merola become uncomfortable at the hypocrisy? Thoughts? | |||||

The most likely explanation is that it was a direct response to this site and we are all poop flinging monkeys who do not deserve consideration. So it was removed. Level: 150 CS Original | Well when he deleted the various threads where he calls me mentally ill and related bullshit, Andrew on the facebook group did exactly what he was supposed to, pretended as if we made the entire thing up, I guess I pre-dated newer posts to make them look old and so forth too. To bring up a cliché: it reminds me of 1984, where Winston has to change history, including deleting things, and then believe the new information even though he himself knows it to be false. | |||||
