@TeeZedem you gotta go after the low hanging fruit man why you trying to convert CS memebrs over, Fresco says it's worthless and a waste of time to do that. At that help me get unbanned from the Zeitgeist movement, I have my zeitgeist movement that supports the Zeitgeist movement and I'm the very definition of "low hanging fruit".

You are hung up on that we call charity patchwork. What else is it? When you donate money or food to feed the hungry compared to building the infrastructure to supply enough food to prevent hunger, which one is reactionary and which one is proactive? I think that the answer is self-evident.

Read Muertos reply and weep, since nothing your movement does is proactive, all it does is blow hot air up everyones and its own ass. It does nothing pro actively to fix any of the problems individuals/society or nations have. It merely plants itself into internet forums claiming to be the sole salvation of everything and every problem.

So no I'm not hung up on a word, i'm hung up on the complete lack of productivity to go along with its narrative. Blow me.

Fresco put his property up for sale at around $500,000 - $600,000.

Oh, only 600 grand though. Yeah, totally broke.

Dude has land worth half a mil and he's never had a job in his life. He's good at what he does, I'll give him that.

@Omni science, and most of that property he garnered freely from unsuspecting marks in the 1960s- 1970s by folding a company 'sociocyberneering inc' to form a new one, stripping it of its assets and coffers then funneling them into the new company he created 'the venus project', where the previous shareholders had no say or positions over the purse strings and assets.

History has a funny way of repeating itself with those who dont know their history.

Shit, someone should dig up that old thread pertaining to Fresco and his exploitations of people way back when.

Making it into an article or something would be pretty sweet.

I applaud you for being charitable, I myself am charitable. The only difference between us is I see charity as reactionary, and not proactive. I'm not intending to insult you ,nor am I say the act of charity is wrong, it is the best way we've got for now. But there is a better way. You either recognize that or you don't.

I actually agree with that statement, but charity also has a much lower status in Europe than it has in the States. Obviously, this gives no credibility whatsoever to what TZM is doing, and I'm not sure if its members are self-deluding enough to actually believe that.

I liked the idea of Douglas Mallette, who, except living in some kind of technological dreamworld, proposed building automated, independent hydroponic farms for starving populations - which would be a pro-active approach to problem solving. As I know TZM though, they'll probably wait for people with money to come to them, instead of aggressively raise funds themselves, so I might be better off working on that plan alone.

@ Billll

You are correct. What am I doing? I'm certainly not trying to convert anyone here and I don't even believe I'm trying to build bridges. I think I am here ultimately just to argue and this is proving to be hugely unproductive.

@ Edward
You are right, I should spend more time making a difference and less time talking bullshit. In the final analysis we will be known by our works and not our pretty words. Arguing about this with you guys isn't going to get me anywhere. I like the TedZedeminem by the way, it's got flair.

@ Muertos:
I read your blog, it has got substance. However I always imagined an RBE to be gradual and organic. Not like flicking a light switch and presto, we have the Venus Project. Just like money eventually replaced barter, an RBE will eventually replace money. An RBE will flourish on its own merit, no force required. If not, then it dies on the cutting room floor.

@TeeZedem Do something productive and get me unbanned from TZM then :D I am the low hanging fruit logical that is the most rational choice. Unless you are in fact wanting to choose the irrational choice, to go against RBE and going towards money, to say the venus project "does not work" or "is not based on science".

@Kaiser Falkner the venus project is proven. All buildings are built in real life and can be applicable anywhere. The memory metal car can of course repair itself and we have a life size version of this car for proof, we already have train construction, building in the sea and many smiling supporters who believe in what we do as well. You need to watch future by design and Zeitgeist I and II again then we can talk.

ive seen all of that garbage, and all thats been proven is that TVP is predicated on lies, it has produced nothing of value for humanity, and is destitute in its understanding of the complex issues at had. TVP has in fact done the exact opposite of what it intends to do, it has siphened off people who could be working for or supporting more pertinent and effective problem solving programs.
