Level: 6 CS Original | I'm just going through a biography of Stalin and find the following sentence, I'll translate: "[Stalin] was extremely paranoid and drawn to conspiracy theories wherever they emerged. It is hard to argue against the point brought forth by Leninists and Trotskyists that Stalin might in fact have been a greater menace to communists than Hitler was." Castro seems also to believe a lot of paranoid nonsense, to a point where it's hard to argue that he's just acting as if he does to create anger against the US. I don't know much about CT and it's spread through different political spectra, but I find it interesting that apparently a lot of wannabe "world changers" seem to lack the ability to critically analyze what they perceive to be a threat. Expand this to TZM's Peter Joseph, if you want to. It's hard to understand why a group of around a dozen people should threaten a 300k-member movement, unless your perception of what a problem is and what isn't is a bit blurred. Feel free to discuss. More material on the topic (preferably books) is appreciated. | |||||
