Level: 3 CS Original | Anyone can say that about his ideology. (Austrian economists denigrate their skeptics that way regularly because according to their scholastic, aprioristic form of reasoning they cannot say anything wrong about economics.) I have yet to hear someone say that he adopted a false world view because he lacked the intelligence to understand the true one.

Paid Disinformation Blogger Level: 14 CS Original | Honestly Matt, in a movement with so many white 20-something males, I'm not surprised. Having done a lot of charity work (REAL charity work) there tends to be a "type" who will do real things to help real people, like raise money for good causes, serve dinner at homeless shelters, read to kids etc. I'm not saying these are the only ways to help, but they're the traditional ones, and not one of them is incompatible with the utopia stuff that the Zeitgeisters claim to believe in. I don't see a lot of activism along those lines from the ZM, and CT'ers in general are generally allergic to any real world form of helping people. Their idea of helping people is "exposing the truth" and posting on message boards. Not to brag, but I'm paying to help a kid (not my own) afford college. I don't have the money to do that right now but I'm doing it anyway. I'd like to see a single one of these Zeitgeist nimrods step up and do the same thing.

Genuine American Monster Level: 70 CS Original | I was reading the ZM folks opine about abortion and one posted how horrible abortion was and how his girlfriend had to get one because of the monetary system. Because of the monetary system they couldn't afford it. I was like... what? Who can "afford" a kid when they have one? I dunno, it was just such a wild example of someone unable to accept personal responsibility. "Damn this monetary system, let's abort."

Level: 3 CS Original | @ Matt:
The lack of money hasn't stopped plenty of other women from pumping out bastard kids they can't support, then using the political process to get the rest of us to pay for them. BTW, that bad habit of women's might become pervasive in a Venus Project-like society. Google the phrase "beta aversion."
