Skeptic Project

This is obviously the new slogan that the Zeitgeist Movement hopes will catch on. I've already seen it reproduced in cartoons and on Twitter profiles among Zeitards. I even saw it BEFORE the release of Z3, which suggests strongly it's an Astroturf plant by Merola and whoever TZM's spin doctors are.

Somehow I find it less than plausible that this slogan will take the world by storm, or if it does, that it will carry the same connotations that the Zeitards obviously hope it will. Slogans, especially those easily divorced from their context, have a curious way of becoming self-parody.

Thoughts?

No, I like it. Watch the movie and the whole context where he says that - he basically admits that since 1929 (he claims that's when he first knew everything is wrong) all he did was a bunch of pictures, graphic designs and lots and lots of writing. I say we give him another eon or four and he'll invent capitalism.

The only part of ZMF that I watched was the Fresco "this shit's got to go" scene. It was cheesy, forced and Fresco always sounds like he's talking with a mouthful of tapioca pudding.

If you thought that line was cheesy, watch the ending of the movie where all the people of the world start throwing their money in the river.

Some of the attempts at "humor" were really lame too.

Also, I thought that they were distancing themselves from the first conspiracy theory laden movie.
