Hello,
I am very concerned over the problems arising out of what started out as a peaceful protest. I have faith in the people of Egypt's ability to maintain composure, especially when they showed us such acts as cleaning up the streets of garbage (without pay) and singing to and kissing and celebrating the military men as if they were family during the marches, effectively growing their movement to include the soldiers.

However, there is no guarantee that after all of this is over, the new set of leaders will meet the needs of the people. So I don't think it is worth seeing your loved ones getting hurt over.

I would ask you to, using the Zeitgeist name, propose to revise the resistance strategy. I reckon that if the movement for change in Egypt is large enough, in the millions from news reports, you can shut down the infrastructure that the elites rely on more so than the common citizen just by not going to work.

As a new step in your revolution, offer the people to continue resisting this regime at home. But it is very important that they refuse to go back to work until their demands are met. This will save your movement the hassle of littering and cleaning up the streets, and further injuries to its supporters.

It might take a month or more, but I am convinced that the elites will crave the bare necessities provided by the Egyptian infrastructure that the citizens operate by going to work every day. And if it takes too long, then go back to work but only to turn the lights back on and keep the food coming. Maybe this is where the zeitgeist of the monetary system will begin to give way to a more collaborative zeitgeist.
