I understand that some may question my motivation in coming here. The simple truth is that it concerns me that people are willing to follow Neil and the pseudo science cult he belongs to and are being taken advantage of. For the record, I do not nor have I ever been associated with the Zeitgeist movement, the Venus Project or any other cult or religious institution.

What worries me the most is that it appears as though Neil positioning himself as heir apparent to the Venus Project when old man Fresco kicks the bucket and let me tell you that will be horrible. Imagine the destruction he can wrought as the head of his own movement.

I consider myself to be a logical and rational person who believes in challenging anti-intellectualism and conspiracy mongers. I also find cults and their followers fascinating.

I believe Neil hitched a ride down to Florida with someone. You are talking about his visit to the Venus Project?

Yeah, I don't understand how someone with no job, no money and lives in a trailer he doesn't even own can afford a trip to Florida.

Also, I distinctly remember him claiming he owns the land the trailer is on.

Does Neil ever tell the truth?

He occasionally tells the truth, even the worse liars do. He does not own the land the trailer is on. He lives in a trailer park on a small lot.

He could have used money his ex-wife made from her job at a fast food joint to make the trip.

Is there anything you'd like to say to Neil? Because I'm sure he's reading this.

There is nothing to say to him. Like I said, he lacks the ability to be introspective so nothing I could ever say would make a damn bit of difference. All words fall on deaf ears.

That's a fair point. I have often thought that VTV suffers from some form of narcissism so I doubt this thread will do anything more than prove that he's so important that people are willing to slander him on the Internet.

But maybe some of his followers will read this and wonder if he's the sort of person to model themselves after.

I have a trivial question.

How did he manage to dupe a woman that isn't inflatable into marrying him? Much less one that was like 1/4th his size.

I hope they reconsider listening to him and begin to question his motivations. It is bound to happen eventually but hopefully I can hasten the process.

He was much thinner when they met. His ex-wife is a little on the kooky side herself. She is a bit mousy and likes to be dominated emotionally. Neal is a dominating person so they worked, at least for a while. Coupled the need to be dominated with a lack of intelligence and you have a person that is easy to keep under your thumb.

Just to throw it out their I know who took VTV to Florida it was the leader of the Ohio chapter who did it. It's not secret but yeah that's how he got the transportation. I had no clue he doesn't have a car.

@MackDavenport I have something VTV said that I picked up when I was messing with Ed. One particular sentence I found really funny but disturbing that someone would have the gump to say it; just read it and tell me what you think.

http://www.thezeitgeistmovement.com/joomla/index.php?option=com_kunena&Itemid=99999&func=view&catid=231&id=295558&limit=10&limitstart=40#295676

Lets remember the chronology of events here. You stated you had emphatic proof that our system would not work and you would demonstrate it. The problem is if you are asking me for this information you are already demonstrating you don't even understand what we propose in the first place and are therefore not in a position to be telling us what is wrong with it. I cannot vouch for what people have told you outside of this forum. I am an "Official" spokesman for a reason. I have reviewed all of the information and proven to the right people that I am competent. The data your looking for is available in the various FAQs, films, articles and such that have been provided on this website. One of the reasons this forum is generally only for members is none of us have the time to sit here and educate every single person who comes in here with the latest ill-founded argument that we are wrong.

Let me get that sentence I thought was funny/disturbing.

I am an "Official" spokesman for a reason.

Talk about not tooting ones own horn... The way he says it I can't help he actually thinks in this manner. who the heck would say something like this? what is I said (which I did say to Ed) "I am an "Official" spokesman for Conspiracy Science a reason.". It's amazing how he carries his self-appointed title of being the spokesman for the venus project with such pride.

MackDavenport what do you think of this? Your thoughts?

To give you a back story this thread was started to debate a economist on another website. The topic is called "My debate with Aegis.". In case you wanted to read the whole thread which basically VTV provides basically nothing. I also use comments VTV made in this thread and raged Ed with it as well. Safe to say Ed was going berserk answering VTV comments I modified for the topic on hand (Ed didn't know what I was doing at the time).

Billll,

What VTV is really saying is, don’t question me. People tend to take that position when they have run out of strong arguments and don't want to be questioned further.
It should be pretty obvious by now that these people don't want any decent in their ranks. They have found the answer and any deviation from that plan is the equivalent of religious heresy.

As for the arrogant attitude, it makes perfect sense. Here is a guy with zero power or success in the real world who has been given what he perceives to be a title of importance and power. Over his little internet serfdom he has absolute authority. Members should take heed, if this is how he reacts with a little bit of power and authority; imagine how he might react with more.

How on Earth they decided he had the right credentials to be the official spokesman is beyond me. You would presume that any organization that wants to be taken seriously would make every effort to put the best foot forward to the public.
It is also odd to me that he would say that it is not his job to educate every person who comes along considering that as official spokesman that is very much his job.

@MackDavenport the only time I have talked to VTV I found him well a bit deceptive. I find he spins and lies way to often. My first and last confrontation with him was also with Thunder in the room if your familiar with Thunder who is also isn't that great. I see a trend in VTV's tactics which again I find barbaric and sad. What he does from what I have observed but I'm unsure if he does it intentionally or not because maybe he enjoys what he does but he makes people get very emotional at which once the emotional individual yells and screams he/she begins to fall back then they reconsider their standpoint.

That's has been his tactic from what I observed and people who put their emotions into play will often reconsider their stance and ultimate fall for VTV's bullshit. I am a bit immune to such sad tactics but to others who are the "nice person" or the "quiet nice person" can fall victim to such bullshit and VTV will take advantage of these people's kindness/niceness. I really don't know the guy that much but from what I have observed and been told you can't afford to be nice.

May I suggest watching a Penn and Teller about Death. It talks a lot about emotions and how when emotions come into play one can lead to bad decisions. Not to say emotions in decision making is a bad thing.

Billll,
I've seen the episode and enjoyed it very much. I agree that under certain circumstances you can’t play nice. For instance, you can't be nice when you are trying to reveal hypocrisy.

The drawback is that you give someone like VTV greater prominence within his movement. Persecution only fuels the narcissism and paranoia, ultimately inflating ones sense of how important they really are.

The idea develops in their mind that they must be attacking me for a reason and that reason usually has nothing to do with whether they are right or wrong.
Another unfortunate result is that others might rally around him because they feel he is being victimized and take pity on him. People develop a sense of unity when under attack or when they have a group they can villainies.

My suggestion would be to not give him a platform by completely ignoring him. At this point you have to realize he isn’t going to listen to reason, so there is no point continuing to argue with him.

@MackDavenport I have to ask is VTV all native American or does he have other stuff in his gene pool? Does VTV use being a native american for political gain or sometype of gain in general? Any other thoughts on this?

@MackDavenport but does he have other things in him as well. As I myself have native american in me I don't identify with being native american although I do sympathize with them. So does he live in teepees, go to powwow's and live on Indian reservations?

He's said he hates the United States on more than one occasion. In fact, he's said that on this very forum.

Also, a power struggle between Merola and VTV would be hilarious and I eagerly await it with popcorn ready.

I refuse to call that a radio show. Because it isn't one.

@MackDavenport reason I ask this is because I have seen VTV pull the native american card a few times. I'm just wondering if VTV has issues with the white man even though VTV is clearly pale in complexion. Just by looking at VTV I don't think he's pure native american at all he's is probably a mix. Again it's sad he would use that card.

MackDavenport what about VTV's wiccan beliefs and activities?

I'm not so sure we focus on VTV so much as we find his train-wreck of a life hilarious. I'll be completely honest: I only asked you these questions so I could laugh at him.
