The Venus Project is asking for donations to do a major motion picture depicting life in a resource-based economy. The film is designed to reach the general public throughout the world to introduce an exciting sustainable new social direction depicting a vision of what our future can be if we intelligently apply science and technology with environmental and human concern--a future where war, poverty and hunger could be but a distant memory.

If TVP was Star Trek, it would be Voyager.

Because it sucked.

^As if!!! I'd rather have a three-way with Janeway and 7 of 9, than Kirk and Spock...

Sorry Nic, but I must disagree. And it wasn't for lack of wanting to like Voyager, because I did. I just couldn't.

Also I don't like original Star Trek. Only TNG and DS9.

^that was so bad that they didnt even call it star trek in its title.

TNG was my favourite but I never saw enough of DS9 to get into it.

Do they know what "major motion pictures" cost these days? They'd be lucky to raise the money the software alone.

They'll probably end up spending 90% on transportation and have some poor guy with a pirated version of Premiere and AfterEffects cut the damn thing.
