 Genuine American Monster Level: 70 CS Original | The thing we need to realise is that our ideas are a direct threat to some of the most powerful influences in the world. We should be expecting more attacks along similar lines. In a secular sense our movement will face similar threats to its existence as the early Christians did. They attacked the existing paradigm and they prevailed against all odds. We can not afford to underestimate the scope and severity of these attacks. We will need to respond to each accordingly in an intelligent non-emotion-driven manner. Sometimes it will mean ignoring them. Sometimes it will mean disassembling their arguments bit by bit. Every situation will be different but dismissing such threats on emotional grounds is a dangerous tactic. ----- I'm not sure being tortured while Nero ate dinner is the same as someone writing an article critical of Zeitgeist. But hey, who needs truth or accuracy. | |||||
