I believe that it ultimately is impossible to change the world-view of people in steps which doesn't conform to the economic advancement of society.

Ultimately, human understanding of reality is formed by the surroundings of the human being.

Thence, I believe that the idea that the worldview must be changed before a RBE could come into being is actually rather hampering the development of such initiatives than stimulating them.

Firstly, we don't know what kind of worldview we would collectively have under a RBE system, just like medieval people couldn't possibly conceptualise secular thinking.

The ultimate drive for social change and for the gradual change of worldviews are the surroundings of human beings.

Hence, if you want to change the worldview of people, you need to change their environment first. That would force them to adapt gradually.

Controlling the resources of the world, which usually means through either economic transformation from below, political power from above or a combination thereof. And by not holding any illusions that we could predict the end result or have some sort of "ideal human being".

Both strategies are utterly unrealistic.

The movement will neither be able to control the common "worldview" nor hold power over resources worth more than a medium sized business, and that's still a generous assumption.

Their only strategy would be to phrase the modus operandi of their "resource allocation system" in a practical way and test it locally, but they have already shown that they're not into willing to ask the questions necessary to do that - many times.
