The biggest threat to Capitalism is that we start using an alternative to money.

If we started trading precious metals or some equivalent again then suddenly the artificial wealth of Capitalist countries vanishes, the wealthy lose their fortunes and inflated political power, and suddenly the world is more equitable. Byebye inflation, debt, bs.
It's seriously unrealistic to think that capitalism will collapse in on itself. If we never get onto the point of toppling it, this movement has nowhere to go.
We should be taking the question very seriously: how do we topple the dollar, the euro, and any other equivalent currency that tries to replace it.

Anyway if people start using precious metals for trading, you will still have people with more than others and since metals are scarce it would be even worse for everyone, not to mention countries with no minerals would be screwed.

I guess he's implying the current situation with Gaddafi is because of his "shake up", but Libya's economy was hardly important enough to cause any problems with the global economy, maybe if the US or EU were going to replace their currency it would cause a problem, but not Libya..

The only thing that's confusing is why just 2 weeks ago they argued that ALL money is evil and causes all the problems that he listed regardless if it was gold or not, then turn around and say the opposite. But who cares about all of that? This is a sign they are starting to think for themselves again.

@CyborgJesus No, you're simply wrong here. Peter Joseph and his lackies have said numerous times that a gold standard would be no different than fiat because banks would still issue loans with interest and cause debt.

I can dig though some YT comments I've got supporting this as well. TZM is anti-money, not just anti-fiat money.

These guys seem to never really think on their own, they just patchwork different, conflicting and inconclusive CTs together. Fear of banking, debt and fiat money are a part of that.
