So goes the common objection to the Equal Money System that has proposed by the international group that goes by the name of Desteni. That’s the beauty of this “BUT,” a sizeless, metaphysical protest that covers an incalculably wide range of concerns that some wish to hang onto to complain, disapprove or disregard the principle of economic equality they would allegedly otherwise support. “Oh,” they whine,”if it weren’t for this BUT, I could support equality for all! I really could. I swear!”
Shut up. I have a name for people like you : Introducing… the Butwads! You can’t handle the principle of equality because of a very simple thing: you don’t want people to be equal. The status quo suits Butwads Just Fine, thank you very much.
I know what you’re thinking, Butwad. “I just have problems with the leader of the Equal Money System because you guys are a cult!” This sentiment squarely places Butwad in the same camp as the Desteni Haters (or as I like to call them, ‘The Axis of Weasels”). It’s so predictably ridiculous. Let’s not focus on the message! Let’s focus on the messenger! Just for fun, let’s run through a few of their objections…

Oh, really. You would be down with a concept that didn’t originate with you if somebody else thought it up? Doesn’t make much sense. Unless you’re a jealous knucklehead.

This comment is often made by people totally ignorant of the principles and theories of Marxism and Communism. It’s not like these subjects are taught in any detail in our public schools. Ignorance strikes again. And for the record, Marx’s version of equality only applied to workers relationship to their labor, which is, of course, a fundamental principle in capitalism.

The Axis of Weasels’ point. A paranoid fever-dream of domination, control, totalitarianism and enslavement. They don’t seem to mind the domination control, totalitarianism and enslavement that’s involved within the Capitalist system. Apparently, that’s okay!

I get this, but aren’t we putting the cart before the horse? Is man greedy because of the necessity for survival? What if survival was taken away? Would there still be a need to make sure you have yours and more than the other? Isn’t greed nothing more than fear of loss? Freud claimed that Man was ‘born greedy” as a child, it was a “natural” development of socialization and unconscious influences. It seems to me this is a case of the ‘sins of the fathers’ being visited upon or transferred to the children, being as they are genetic copies of their parents living lives that had walked through the path of survival that ended only in death. Could an infant be aware of such a horror?
All this to say: the Butwads are the betrayers of Equality and Life and should be regarded as dangerous as the biblical Peter, who denied Jesus three times after walking with Jesus from the beginning of their travels, or Judas, the trusted Apostle who led a group of soldiers to Jesus and betrayed him with a kiss. The Gospels portray Jesus as not being deceived, as he was already ready for the double-cross. Desteni is not surprised nor deceived by the Butwads, either. Judas deceived himself through accepting “reasons” for betraying Jesus as the Butwads try to do to Desteni. “I really dig Jesus, but…”
As you may know, Judas’ reward was thirty pieces of silver, cash money – and an appointment with his guilty conscience and death in the Field of Blood. It would be better for the Butwads to stand openly along the genuine Desteni Haters than to walk with us in self-deception, mendacity and hidden motives, because they don’t realize what they’re doing. The Butwads are full of fear. Pity that they aren’t even self-honest enough to understand why they fear Equality. Then again, that’s what makes them Butwads.
