People donate money to Fresco and he hasn't accomplished a damn thing in like four decades. Its not about doing things, its about telling people what they want to hear.

And because some of the people donating are idiots who don't see that he's a loser with a dead beat online community.

Not true I donated to VTV because of his kids, I pitied him, and because I've been in that situation when I was younger. From VTV's blog post he was begging and crying hardcore and I simply couldn't ignore the plea for help because that's not who I am. Am I a sucker for donating (donated for his computer as well), yes I am. I thought this would be a temporary thing until VTV could get himself back on his feet; I totally understand that but now it's become a thing he expects and will resort to being a beggar to get money he thinks he deserves from gullible good intentioned hard working people.

Now I understand when people raise money for political campaigns that's perfectly ok to ask for donation for their cause but VTV isn't in any way comparable to campaign fund raisers and in my opinion looks like a beggar bum who refuses to get a job. Campaigns don't beg for money for years, and they certainly don't beg for money to pay their own bills. The worst thing is VTV is not ashamed about this either. Stop leeching off other people so you can continue not to work.

His kids will most likely end up as white trash just like their parents. Save your sympathy for kids born to parents that actually make an effort in life yet still fall short. VTV's kids are a lost cause.

I think the best way to help VTV is to not donate to him. It will force him to get a job that way and stop him from being a beggar and mooching off others who work hard for their money at a job.

^ I'd like to think I wasn't bamboozled out of my money by donating to VTV but I realize I'm living in a fantasy world where I think people will do the right thing and get a job to support their family. It seems VTV doesn't even attempt to find a job and at that has made me reluctant to donate to other people/causes which may actually be legitimate.

That's why he said on one of his shows if he doesn't get donations he'll be forced to recycle cans? Goddamn that's so trailer trash.

Do you really believe that he used your money to better the lives of his children? I doubt very much that he did. You've been there, I've been there, a hell of a lot of people have been there. Most of us just find a way to fight our way through without publicly pissing and moaning and begging for money from strangers. I feel sorry for those kids, I don't believe that they're a lost cause just because they're being raised by trash. But sending money to VTV benefits VTV not his kids. You want to help someone? That's great. And sometimes you can find someone very close to home that really needs it and will appreciate it. Around here we have a few small groups that can point you to a family in need. Sometimes it isn't even a family or about money. There's a few people in the local nursing home here that have no one visit them. Give your sympathy to someone that deserves it.
And he claims that he'll be forced to recycle cans? I say: recycle away; at least he would be doing something. I said it last week, VTV is part of the entitlement mindset. People that want everything handed to them as if the world somehow owes them something. You sound like a nice guy Bill, you tried to do a good thing and got taken. That's on VTV, not you.
