How mind blowing. How insulting. How completely disgusting. McDonalds is paid slavery. Most jobs are but when you work at McDonalds you are actively participating in murder. What can we do? Well like all Americans I once had an occasional bite to eat at McDonalds. It's been over 7 years since I’ve been to McDonalds now. I was thinking about my health mostly but I also became quite disturbed to see such glaring ugliness scattered about the landscape. Strip mall after strip mall, peppered with McDonald signs. Talk to your friends and family about McDonalds, a mass murderer. Explain what their food is made of and this applies to all fast food. If less and less people participate we may see the glorious day when slimy fast food giants can't make a living to save their lives. Also support local farmers and farmer cooperatives. No farms, no food. If this girl wants employment, there are a lot of family farms out there looking for help. As the economic crisis grows people will need to eat and a good way to ensure that there will be food is to support food production in your area. If you have a piece of land try growing some food.

Local farms are great! It's just a coincidence that I can buy the exact same berries at the local farms as the grocery store yet they're not locally grown and a dollar more. My truck driving stepfather is just a propagandist, telling me about how he made a delivery of berries to the local farms.

Anyone telling you "just get a job at a local X" is either fucking dense or never looked for a job in their life, most likely both.

Why all the vitriol for McDonalds? I cant find a reputable source but I keep seeing places say Subway has the most locations worldwide, so why not hate them? Burger King? Pizza Hut?

I've done this as hobby for a number of years and it costs a shit load of money and time for frankly, minimal success. I have plenty of mint though, so we'll have mojitos and mint juleps when the economy crashes or whatever.

Its hard as fuck to grow your own food. You need a lot of sun, land and its a lot of work, more than any Zeitard is willing to do I can promise you that. You can't just throw some seeds in the ground and BOOM! food springs up even if you had the available land to do it.
