Basically... print fake money, but with the message of the ZGM it, but fold it so it looks like real money and then drop it into the collection bucket of your victim.

Im sure they will really appreciate it.

Government Line of Action: print money, out of thin air, backed by nothing, devaluating the currency, causing more inflation and, finally, dumping it into the economy.

Zeitgeister Line of Action: print some money, backed by a powerful message that will increase public awareness, causing a Revolution of Minds and finally, having a Cultural Shift to an Emergent Society instead of the Established one we have today.

Hmmm... they're slightly off. Let me fix that for them

Government Line of Action: I don't actually understand international finance and economic systems, so I'm going to boil it down and caricature the entire thing to make my point seem persuasive. Too bad inflation doesn't work the way I think it does, or that fiat currencies are really no different, fundamentally, than any other currency value is ascribed to.

Zeitgeister Line of Action: Print monopoly money that repeats my half-assed notion of a utopia that is in no way realistic, based in science, or aware of the way the world really works. Also, I like to Needlessly capitalize Various words so as to Instill a sense of importance to Them.

There, much more accurate.

Printing off fake money is a federal crime... This is seriously deceptive, illegal and messed up. Talk about grounds for reporting these people to the FBI again.

If your a group advocating against money because it causes all of these so called 'bad things', then why would a person promote or even show how they A: printed and cut out the fake money, B: laid the money on the ground for people to pick up and think it's real money. C: Tape it all and put it on youtube.

I'm worried if anybody tried to actually spend any of the money thinking it's real. If they get caught it can seriously screw up their life because of these knuckleheads.

its only illegal if you manipulate or produce currency for malicious purposes. Because they are not making it look like a real bill in its entirety, its not illegal. A lot of ordinary groups have done this. It was a shitty idea, but its not illegal.

Is this money Canadian currency?

I'm not entirely sure on the rule but I don't think it's right to pass off fake money as real money. For learning purposes that's ok but attempting to pass off fake money as real money and not tell the passers bye that it's fake is where I have a problem with it. The chance someone could spend that fake money thinking it's real is a problem I have with this. If it was for instance real money spatter all over the ground with some crazy communist literature to it I'd have less of a problem with it.

I think it's safe to assume their motive was to pass this off to passersby as real money so they can pick it up therefore I'm no so sure the law wouldn't over look this. You also have a website that shows more intent as to how to pass a real bill off to passersby but how to display it to even make it.

Street performers can't feed themselves and their families with good intentions.

"Hello, Landlord? Yes, do you take good intentions?"

Chicago, New York, Cleveland for some reason. It really isnt an uncommon tool. I even saw an insurance company do this where they folded down the bill and when you unfolded it there was some stupid advertisement.

Evangelical Christians do this. I found what I thought was a folded up twenty dollar bill on the sidewalk once, opened it up and it said "Disappointed? Imagine how you will feel in Hell!" There were then a bunch of stupid Bible verses that I didn't read.

Needless to say all it accomplished was pissing me off.
