 Level: 1 CS Original | Quite a famous one in CT circles: It's supposedly from a letter written by FDR to a Colonel House. F.D.R.: His Personal Letters, 1928-1945, edited by Elliott Roosevelt (New York: Duell, Sloan and Pearce, 1950), pg. 373. My library, unsurprisingly, doesn't have a copy, is there anyone who can check this? | |||||

Level: 1 CS Original | Well, that is why I was surprised to find a citation of an actual book with page number. I'm aware of the usual oblique references to Yale and am confident that no CT'er who quotes it has ever checked. However, is the letter on page 373 of the FDR book? I'm not sure how common it is in libraries in the US and haven't been able to find an online version. | |||||
