One of the things that I have been tring to find out about is what is the truth about MKULTRA. I know there is a lot of B.S. about it like the Cathy O'Brian B.S. So what was it really? What all happened ? I remembered watching on Unsolved Mysteres the case of Frank Olson; does anybody know anything about that? I found this on Wikipedia:

"Project MKUltra was first brought to wide public attention in 1975 by the U.S. Congress, through investigations by the Church Committee, and by a presidential commission known as the Rockefeller Commission. Investigative efforts were hampered by the fact that CIA Director Richard Helms ordered all MKUltra files destroyed in 1973; the Church Committee and Rockefeller Commission investigations relied on the sworn testimony of direct participants and on the relatively small number of documents that survived Helms' destruction order.[10]"

MKUltra is the one thing that pisses me off the most. Anytime anything happens and a conspiracy happens, every nut in the universe gets onto their computers and tells me to Google it.

Now, Muertos is right that there's no mind control systems that work but there is a system of thought reform that does. They are worlds apart. Psychologists who study this phenomenon will tell you outright mind control as proposed by these conspiracy nuts is mostly isolated to fictional novels and films. They were trying to attempt this but it was a failure. Because so many of the documents were discarded in relation to the program, the nutters like to fill in the gaps with their imagination.

Here's the full log of the hearings regarding it. Might shed some light.

The [Central Intelligence] Agency itself acknowledged that these tests made little scientific sense. The agents doing the monitoring were not qualified scientific observers.
