FEMA camp conspiracy theorists NIGHTMARE.

Level: 0
An autistic person like me, Jim was TERRIFIED by conspiracy theories. He even told me in a comment that he was on the verge of suicide. His comment was

"this shit almost happened to me but i woke up and saw through all the smoke and mirrors of the truthers."

http://utistickyuubi.blog.com/a-story-how-conspiracy-theories-are-harmful/

when he found my blog, and channel, He subscribed to me on youtube, and Followed me on twitter and is now a full fledged member of the Debunker's Alliance.

I cannot begin to imagine how this makes me feel, to save someones life. I stopped a person from killing himself through my actions.

This is great. Conspiracy theories serve to do more harm than good.

Sure the world is a shitty place for many, but making it seem even more hopeless using bullshit fear mongering conspiracies sure is bound to push some people from the edge. It is a good thing that guy found that blog and changed his ways before he made a mistake he wouldn't be able to fix.

Honestly before I started debunking on my own I had no clue just how dangerous the sheer belief in a conspiracy could be. I knew it could make some people isolate themselves and in rare occasions make seriously mentally disturbed people commit huge acts of violence (Jared Loughner proved that) but I didn't know that it could terrify some teens and young adults into committing suicide.

Just like with Sasori, it almost happened to me, you know that Locke, you also helped me alleviate the fear. Yeah the world's a messed up place, but it's not really as bad as CT ers make it out to be.

Anyways, this is great news Sasori! this is the kind of results that all of us here on SP should aim for!
