FEMA camp conspiracy theorists NIGHTMARE.

I have had at least 5 benefits from skepticism of the NWO.

1.My grades in school are BETTER THAN EVER, the best I've had since I was in high school
2.anxiety dropped.
3.I am making plans for college.
4.I can live life without suicidal thoughts.
5.I can live life without fear that me and everyone I know will be thrown in a non-existent FEMA camp.

thank you all SO MUCH.

That's great news! we need to rid this world of conspiratal thinking for good.... and I thought I was the only one in my school who really ever worried about any of this stuff. Yesterday I realized I was dead wrong

particularly, 2 of my friends who take the bus to school with me (both of whom are moderately religious Sikhs, like me), one of them went on to tell me that him and his cousin were researching some stuff, first I didn't know what he was talking about, then he went on saying how the song "Mercy" by Kanye West is a "devil's chant" because of the supposed backwards sample of a song that is sampled in the chorus/instrumentals. Right away I knew what he was talking about and that wherever he got his info from, was most likely a Youtube video with no credibility or some paranoid CT website. He also believes in the whole "sell your soul for fame" stuff and that that's the only reason Rihanna is famous. My other friend, she also believes in the whole Illuminati stuff, neither of them are really worried about it, they don't take it as seriously as I did but regardless, they believe it because it's "so obvious". I told them that I used to believe and now I think it's a buncha bull. As I expected, they asked me "how can you think that, it's obviously existent".

I think they believe that it exists, but they know it doesn't prove any particular religion correct (which it doesn't), even if the Illuminati did exist, you haven't proven that the devil exists, or that Christianity or Islam is true. For all we know, the Illuminati could exist and my religion could be true, or maybe no religion is true yet this society could still exist somehow. Basically, I don't know, nobody in the world truly knows that, and there's no real evidence to support that there's a black magic-like influence in the entertainment industry so why would you bother believing it?

Anyway, examining what he said. First of all, the song that "Mercy" samples isn't sampled "backwards" in the song, it's forwards, but just high-pitched. and the words don't even seem like a devil chant at all ("it is a weeping and a mourning and a gnashing of teeth"), that's a verse from the book of matthew in the bible. I highly doubt that devil-worshippers would use a verse from the bible as a chant, that pretty much debunks that one. He also thinks that the reason songs by Rihanna or anyone else who's supposedly part of the "Illuminati" reach the top of the Billboards so quickly is because of the Illuminati, and there supposed "black magic" influence or whatever. Still not sure how to debunk/explain that one to him, I don't know very much about how marketing and sales in the music industry works, but I'm sure some of us here probably can give me a basic generalization and I can help explain it to him?
