2 1/2 men isn't the greatest televisions series out there. Angus is probably going through a phase. In those videos he admits he's not had much world experience besides the TV series he works at therefore it makes sense that he would be seeking something else out there. Even though he is contemplating quitting I think he's making a big mistake as he's making a substantial amount of money per episode.

Though I think he's making a mistake, I think he should quit and try to figure out what he really wants to do in life. In my opinion I don't think Angus is trying to seek god as much as he's trying to seek himself and that's a good thing. I think he'll realize that he wasn't seeking god as much as he was trying to grow up and be the person he wants to be rather than what others want him to be. The best lessons learned in life are from the mistakes we make.
