All your favorites here: the movies aren't the movement, PJM is not the leader, the movies are good because they challenge people, we're not conspiracy theorists, all you do is make ad hominem attacks, and much much more!

Waiting for the flood of hate mail.

That's a really awesome blog post, I really like it and I imagine it'll get some flak like my TZM article got, hell I imagine someone might post it to the TZM forums, and we'll see the same mind-numbing responses anyway... assuming it isn't deleted within a few minutes.

Hotlinks to each seperate canned response available edward?

Then if a canned response comes up from the top 10 we can do a canned response back with a direct link to the relevant one :D

Yes good job, some good points made here and well constructed arguments. But I fear you may have to write another one at some point as there are many more responses they use to defend their ideology.

Why not just make additional adages to this blogs and CS can just post back into this topic every now and then of repetitive responses TZM cult people are given. Possibly with a refute to the TZM/TVP cult repetitive response so it's less work for Muertos

Incredible blog post, Muertos. One of their own members had one of the most well written compositions against truthers I've ever read. Well, CT's in general. And actually, there's quite a few of them. It's actually almost identical to how I feel about CT's in general. And that's "Who the fuck cares?"

As I've stated before, the only reason I've ever been interested about reading about them and learning them, as well as debunking them, is because there are some fascinating stories. Key word, "Stories" involved. It's great food for thought from a writer's standpoint.

Good post. Reminded me of the long term ZM favorite, "We don't deal with conspiracy theory, we deal with conspiracy facts!"

Can we get the hotlinks on each point done guys ? [edward or muertos]

Makes it easier to just link to that particular canned response argument. The zeitgeisters hate having to do any research of counter points, they prefer the research done for them, so wading through 10 points that ruin their argument will be too much for them to handle at one time.

While I've never been a member of TZM and no longer believe in most of the prominent conspiracy theories (thanks to this site), I do have an interest in The Venus Project and think you may have dismissed it without a great deal of evaluation: "I believe it’s silly, and would be an abomination if it was actually instituted (do you really want the world to be ruled by computers?)"

By no means it is perfect, and I don't except it as the *only* solution (a common claim of more fervent TZM followers), however I've yet to see a more promising design for a long-term sustainable socio-economic system.

"I do have an interest in The Venus Project and think you may have dismissed it without a great deal of evaluation"

Horseshit. There's nothing to even evaluate. Its a poorly constructed ideology centered around magical hippie computers that will both give you blowjobs and free stuff.

Its garbage.

The notion that people here have not "evaluated" TVP enough is both hilarious and somewhat irritating. What do you think we spend our time doing?

Technocracy might be considered to be a more promising design.

I don't give a damn about that. We're in the business of debunking conspiracy theories, not designing long-term sustaintable socio-economic systems.

I really wish TVP would jettison Merola and junk the conspiracy marketing. I really do. Then we wouldn't have to talk about the Venus Project anymore and why it won't work, and we won't get posts like this anymore. I'm really tired of having that conversation--probably as tired as Zeitgeisters are of explaining why "the movies aren't the movement."

I don't care that you don't care, I only care about the ones that do care, and if they do, they can go there and meet others that do care and waste less of your time here by talking about what they care about, and instead talk there.

Is probably pointless being here, will need to point it to a copy of the post peter made to show readers what was said. Or to link to the response made on this forum.
