Read below for full details. *** MAIN EVENT INFO RELEASE; LOS ANGELES, CA -, 2013 The third annual Zeitgeist Media Festival (ZMF), uniting the world through socially conscious art, happens in Los Angeles on Sunday, August 4th, 2013 at the historic Avalon in Hollywood, coupled with numerous sympathetic events occurring around the world on the same weekend, showing global solidarity. This not-for-profit Activist Arts Festival features music, visual and interactive art, comedy, film, speakers and theatrics. With over 30 performances/screenings, this 7 hour event will be another landmark experience. Prior years talent has included live performances & presentations by chart topping South African Songwriter Cofield Mundi, world renowned Sufi singer & composer Sussan Deyhim, Emmy nominated TV writer ("Heroes", "Touch") Tim Kring, international best selling author and lecturer Marianne Williamson, Emmy winning comedian Rick Overton, violin virtuoso and activist Lili Haydn, acting icons Rutger Hauer & Charles Fleischer and many more. Film short screenings, which are a large part of each festival, has featured James Cromwell, Jason Taylor, Mark Magidson, Jason Silva, George Langworthy and more. The 3rd annual Zeitgeist Media Festival runs from 3:00pm to 10:00pm and is an all ages event. We want to know how many people are paying for a ticket and being on the floor. Roadies, sound engineers, artists, event coordinaters aren't the ones we're counting. You can have 10,000 people putting on a show for 5 people like they do in North Korea, but only 5 people came, not 10,005. You seriouly can't expect me to believe there was 550 ticket holding consert goers given the shots of the crowd. | |||||
