Someone had this to say to me when we was talking about the problem of getting someone to clean the toilets in the future:

>> isn’t the idea of somebody receiving a bonus for contributing contrary to everything >> TZM is trying to achieve?

To which I replied:

> Depends on what you think TZM is all about, for me, I only see the scientific
> proccess as the core rule so to speak, everything else is just going to be what
> works best. (Which is determined by testing..)

And a comment on that that being:

>> TZM is about eliminating the monetary system and cultivating a new society based on
>> mutual cooperation. If that is not what you believe in then you are in the wrong
>> place.

And:

>> Second that. Its pretty obvious that Nanos is determined to stay within a monetary
>> mindset with contributions that are of negative value. If he keeps it up he's likely
>> to find himself under moderation.

To which I reply:

>> TZM is about eliminating the monetary system
>
> Where does it say that and not about using the scientific process to determine the
> best course of action...
>
> I believe you two are in error on this point.

Now, how do we think this will turn out..

Will the masses come to understand that indeed Fresco's main thrust is the scientific process, or instead will they find some reference to PJ saying how evil the monetary system is and how we must do without it.

Can I even be bothered to read any replies when the main contributions are from people who don't believe in the scientific process..

Two people who between them manage just above two dozen posts, so are obvious very new to the whole TZM process, I guess I can forgive them the thought that the entire TZM direction is based on something other than the scientific process when I suppose it fails to mention this small vital ingrediant to their whole entire premise of changing the world, rather than some religious ideology which may or may not be correct..

Still, its nice to see what their obvious successful advertising campgains can drag in off the streets these days in the way of scientific minded folk who are just the kind to help build this new future we all want..

Then there is:

About how its not Moore's law, but rather cartals of CPU/RAM companies intent on keeping us away from better technology..

Its perhaps interesting to note how conspiracy minded the view of the world is here.

TZM is unable to see the difference between "the monetary system" as a global network of competing forces that strife for maximum profit, even if this might cause human suffering and "the monetary system" as a method to distribute products and reward otherwise unattractive labor.

All that is backed up by the belief that the technology that capitalism doesn't use because it would "destroy profits" will somehow eliminate the need for money completely, so we don't have to argue. Narf.

I thought my answer that until automation can do a job that people don't want to, to pay bonuses, was a perfectly acceptable practical solution, on our road to not using money..

And that, being open to experimenting and going with a better solution, should we find one answered all possible questions of not being open to alternatives..

How more reasonable can a person be!

Oh well, bound to be some interesting debate in one of the other 2,000+ forums I'm in, its not like the entire planet is devoid of intelligence is it..
